Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum

Take a day trip to Charleston on your next Myrtle Beach vacation for a chance to board the USS Yorktown Aircraft Carrier, USS Laffey Destroyer or USS Clamagore Submarine. The interactive museums and exhibits at Patriots Point give visitors the chance to explore and experience military and maritime life. Check out the Naval & Maritime Museum for its Vietnam Experience Exhibit, which uses holograms and Vietnam-era artifacts to simulate a “Brown Water Navy” support base and a U.S. Marine Corps artillery fire base.
